“Vivid-Alt is in a constant dialog with our audience,” said Eon McKai, who leads the Vivid Entertainment division. “We know they want a voice in our marketing and so we’re being responsive and innovative with our new DVD packaging, our costume displays in retail stores and our customized Vivid-Alt sections of catalogs.”
McKai said that the new program is in direct response to requests from fans.
“Our fans are, to say the least, unique,” he said. “They are outspoken and filled with passion for our performers and products and this program gives us a chance to develop an even tighter bond that is unfiltered and intimate.”
The Vivid-Alt label, which opened operations last year, is a partnership between Vivid and Eon McKai Productions. McKai helms a roster of alt-porn directors that includes Dave Naz, who directed “Skater Girl Fever,” and Octavio “Winkytiki” Arizala, who directed the inaugural Vivid-Alt film, “The Rebelle Rousers.”
Fans can sign up at no cost for the service at Vividalt.com. Vivid-Alt is offering a prize to one lucky subscriber: a pony bridle worn by starlet Mia Rose in "Man's Ruin," along with a publicity still.
