A documentary of Haze’s plastic surgery makeover after chemotherapy treatments for cervical cancer was the inspiration for the contests and the reality show. It is also in final stages of production.
"Summer had surgery because her body had been through a lot with chemo," Haze's publicist Nikki Hart told XBIZ. "She felt that she also wanted to give this opportunity to other women as well and pitched the idea of doing a giveaway, at which time we felt it would be a great idea to film the surgeries and an idea was born for the show."
Contestants for the show had to meet several criteria, including being over the age of 21 and never having had plastic surgery before. The first three contestants of an eventual 10 have been selected, and shooting of the first surgery will take place soon. Atlanta-based amateur-video producer/director Mike South, himself a recent cancer survivor, will direct. “This is a really great project and I am thrilled to be a part of it,” South said.
“We are thrilled to finally put this project in motion, the enthusiasm and excitement from the contestants and my team is incredible,” Haze said. “The ladies are terrific and have very diverse personalities which makes it that much more interesting. We have something very special in store for each and every one of them.”
