“Gamelink was aggressive enough to put a deal together that made us happy,” Teravision CEO Evan Seinfeld told XBIZ. “[VOD] was something we had to get on board with sooner or later. Our goal is to always showcase the glamour of a Teravision production, so now I’m happy that fans can see Tera at her best on this delivery platform.”
GameLink currently has 14 Teravision titles available for streaming and download via Windows Media Player or DivX. Seinfeld said he didn’t want to cut up Teravision’s movies into pay-per-minute or pay-per-scene in order to “preserve the integrity” of each release.
“My opinion on the third party VOD sites is that their commission scale is upside down; they are offering too low a percentage to the studios,” he said. “I think it would behoove the VOD companies to get together and try to preserve the pricing integrity instead of cutting these deals that screw the studios.
“With GameLink we have great positioning on the site that gives exposure to our other lines like ‘SeXXXpose’ and other titles that Tera doesn’t appear in,” Seinfeld continued. “I would welcome a forum for all the large studio owners to stand together to preserve VOD price integrity and the value of top-notch adult content before it becomes devalued like the DVD market. GameLink was the first company to come along and offer us a deal that we were happy with.”
Teravision’s next releases are “Decadence” from Ethan Kane, “Stimula” from Axel Braun, and a comedy, “American MILF.” All Teravision trailers can be seen at TeraTrailers.com.
