LFP Broadcasting, a new division of LFP, said that it has targeted an April launch date for its video-on-demand service and will offer 50 hours of monthly programming. Its new pay-per-view service is set to launch by summer and will be offered in 3- and 6-hour blocks daily.
Michael H. Klein, LFP Broadcasting’s vice president, declined to say how many cable or satellite TV providers are entering into the deal but said the company will make that known public shortly.
“We’ll have the top performers and expect this project to be very successful,” Klein told XBiz. “Hustler TV is designed to deliver familiar content that motivates customers to sample and use both platforms.”
The video-on-demand and pay-per-view services will include adult content from Hustler Video and VCA Pictures, which was acquired by LFP Video last year.
Hustler Video titles have been among the top performers for other adult networks and include the adult series “Barely Legal,” “Asian Fever,” “Hustler Centerfolds,” “Real College Girls” and Snoop Dogg’s “Hustlaz.” VCA Pictures features titles such as “Café Flesh” and “New Wave Hookers,” as well as many series with Misty Beethoven.
Between Hustler Video and VCA Pictures over 25 new films are being made monthly and all will be exclusive to Hustler TV.
“With the tremendous cross-promotion capabilities of LFP, Hustler TV is positioned to become one of the most popular adult entertainment services available,” Klein said.
LFP’s business interests include Hustler and other print publications, adult video and DVD, Internet sites, adult retail stores and the Hustler Casino and Hustler Clubs.
Hustler Magazine’s publisher, Larry Flynt, said the new services expand the brand as it enters its 30th year.
“The launch of Hustler TV for pay-per-view and Hustler TV on-demand is a milestone for LFP,” Flynt said.
