SAN DIEGO — Chaturbate presented the workshop "Safe Sex in the Digital Age" at the Woodhull Sexual Freedom Summit on Friday, Aug. 4, exploring the safety of web camming on the internet.
"There are specific ways to keep personal privacy and secure information when camming online; our workshop gave those new to online sex sites practical and effective ways to confidently explore this profitable and empowering community," said Chaturbate's chief operations officer, Shirley Lara.
Chaturbate Broadcaster and LGBTQ Rights activist, Kelly Pierce, presented the workshop "Safe Sex in the Digital Age," offering insight on the role live cams play in the adult industry, privacy protection while web camming and other tips to make the most of a performer's time spent on cam sites.
Pierce said, "Chaturbate's approach to providing inclusiveness to all models is groundbreaking, even in this day and age. The community feel of Chaturbate offers some inherent protection of broadcaster privacy. My workshop included additional information for those that may not be convinced there is such a thing as safe and private web camming."
