CHATSWORTH, Calif. — The Animal Rescue Alliance will host their 8th Annual "Vice Is Nice" party this Saturday at the organization’s four-acre property in Chatsworth, Rancho Providencia. Founded by Penthouse CEO Kelly Holland, the event aims to raise awareness and money for a number of animal rescue organizations.
The 2017 "Vice Is Nice" event will raise funds for The Animal Rescue Alliance (TARA) programs that provide rescue, adoption and sanctuary for abandoned and abused companion and farm animals. Additionally, they will be raising money for organizations such as Pink Paws, Rags2Wags, Operation Blankets of Love and Colorado-based Douglas County Canine Rescue. It will be their most ambitious event to date, with a celebrity poker tournament, Monte Carlo night, tarot card readings, casino games, hourly raffles and more.
The Animal Rescue Alliance operates as both an adoption agency and a sanctuary for dogs, cats, horses, birds, goats and donkeys. Additionally, TARA has a special projects committee that works to help women and families who are victims of domestic violence in need of short-term care for their pets as they transition to safe housing. Through its outreach, it also works to support and coordinate programs with other worthwhile rescues in Southern California.
The 8th Annual "Vice Is Nice" event runs from 6:30 p.m. to 12 a.m. this Saturday at 10945 Old Santa Susana Pass Road, Chatsworth, CA, 91311. All donations are tax deductible and guests are encouraged to pre-register for the event.
