SAN FRANCISCO — Kink.com will have another prop sale at the Armory this weekend.
“As the Armory transitions into being a full-time event space, we are in the process of selling years of accumulated furniture and props that are no longer needed for the space,” reads an ad for the sale, which will be held Saturday and Sunday from noon to 4 p.m.
Kink.com has used the 192,000-square-foot Armory in San Francisco’s Mission District to shoot BDSM content for more than 10 years. But now the studio shoots elsewhere.
Kink.com spokesperson Mike Stabile told SFist.com that there's “new stuff” for sale, including a piston-based sex machine, coffins, a massage table, a mattress outfitted with chains and loads of costumes. Kink.com had its first prop sale in June.
"We went through our wardrobe department this time and so there are a lot of costumes," said Stabile, who noted that there will be football and lifeguard uniforms, capes, speakeasy dresses, Wonder Woman fetish boots and Roman and gladiator costumes.
"Usually what we do is we try to be authentic," he said. "These aren't things that look cheap."
“Armory Prop Sale 2: Electric Boogaloo” will be held Saturday and Sunday, July 15-16, from noon-4 p.m. at the San Francisco Armory, 1800 Mission St., San Francisco 94103.
