Icon Brands Hires Sara Hentcy as Sales Manager

VAN NUYS, Calif. — Sara Hentcy has joined Icon Brands as sales manager.

Hentcy brings close to 10 years of experience in the adult category to Icon from a few perspectives. She previously worked at Impulse Novelties, Peekay and Pleasure Chest, most recently at Impulse as director of sales.

While at Impulse she created strong relationships with many of the industry's key buyers, and because of her retail experience, she is able to understand what a buyer wants at both the distributor and retail level, the company says.

“We're really happy to have come across Sara,” said Scott Paul, media relations manager for Icon Brands. "She was highly recommended by people we really respect, and now we understand why. She's enthusiastic, has great relationships, and most importantly, really understands the market from all sides."

Paul added, "There's nothing that replaces the knowledge gained in demonstrating products in offices and at the store level; Sara understands the whole supply chain."

In her new position, Hentcy will represent all the Icon collections, including Nines, Linea, Hey 19 and Falcon. Her key responsibilities will include client contact, creating distributor and retail programs, doing trade shows and having a hand in new-product selection.

“I'm so excited to be working with the Icon team," Hentcy said. "There is such a wealth of terrific products and packaging here, and in such an impressive range of categories. The potential for growth is tremendous; it'll be exciting to help take Icon to the next level."

Hentcy can be reached at Icon Brands, (818) 380-7700, ext. 105, or email sara@iconbrands.com
