Nu Sensuelle to Showcase Range of Powerful Vibes at Sex Expo N.Y.

NEW YORK — Nu Sensuelle will be sharing a booth with Maia Toys and exhibiting a variety of pleasure products at Sex Expo New York 2017, to be held Sept. 23-24 at the Brooklyn Expo Center.

Founded by Barry Brinberg and his wife Thao Luu-Brinberg in 2010, Nu Sensuelle manufactures a broad range of rechargeable vibrators. Nu Sensuelle is part of Novel Creations, founded in 2009, and also features cock rings and anal toys.

“Our booth will be shared between Maia and Nu Sensuelle,” said Lisa Hanna, vice president of sales for Nu Sensuelle. “We will have a corner spot. We will be promoting our upcoming and exciting new products for the holiday. We will also be (featuring) product demonstrations and answering all and any questions regarding both of our lines.”

In early March, organizers for the Sexual Health Expo (SHE) announced that it was rebranding as Sex Expo. The bicoastal, biannual event has been taking place in Los Angeles and New York City, and Sex Expo New York 2017 will be its first East Coast gathering since the name change.

“We are so beyond excited to be part of this event,” Hanna said. “Maia has showcased products in the past, but for Nu Sensuelle, this will be our first show. All of the culture and diversity in Brooklyn makes this a perfect location for a show of this magnitude.”

Nu Sensuelle’s Impulse Vibrator won Sex Toy of the Year: Powered in the 2014 XBIZ Awards. More recently, Nu Sensuelle was nominated for Pleasure Product Company of the Year in the 2017 XBIZ Awards, held in downtown Los Angeles in January.

Hanna said that Nu Sensuelle looks forward to working with Sara Ramirez, media director for Sex Expo, and others involved with the event.

“Sara has been more than helpful with preparing us for this event,” Hanna said. “We are happy to work with Sara and will continue to grow our partnership.”

The Brooklyn Expo Center is located at 72 Noble St., in Brooklyn, in the Greenpoint area and is within walking distance of the MTA’s Greenpoint Ave. subway station. To reach the Brooklyn Expo Center from Manhattan, take the G Train.
