BERLIN — Gay adult retailer Clonezone has announced that it is launching two new ecommerce stores for German and Austrian customers.
Clonezone.de and Clonezone.at will officially open for business on Monday and coincide with the company’s 35th year in business.
Clonezone originally launched in London in 1982, and since has grown to six physical stores, an online store and a wholesale division. The retailer offers aromas, lube, sex toys, DVDs, magazines, fashion, underwear and gifts.
“We are excited to announce the launch of our online retail operations in Europe,” said Nigel Glenn, Clonezone’s store and central operations manager. “As Clonezone continues to expand we are in search of strategic opportunities that fit our brand portfolio.
“Following on from the success of our retail stores in Berlin and Vienna, these two territories were the natural choice for the extension of the CZ brand online. We look forward to being able to serve the gay community across Europe through our ambitious roll out plans for 2017.”
Glenn noted that the Clonezone.de and Clonezone.at will give German and Austrian residents of convenient access to its exclusive brands and product ranges without high shipping costs and lead times.
He said Clonezone will be commemorating its 35th anniversary with various events and promotions throughout the year.
