CANOGA PARK, Calif. — Writer and adult entertainment industry advocate Coleen Singer is seeking the industry’s input on “ethical porn” for a new website that will be revealed on Thursday, May 11.
The forthcoming website is “dedicated to starting conversations about ethical porn as a complex entity, one that exists within the adult entertainment industry, as well as synergistically interconnected to wider society,” Singer said.
At its most essential, Singer said, ethical porn content is consensual and created in an environment that emphasizes worker safety. Elements like tenor and intensity, sex acts being depicted or production value do not preclude content from being ethical, she said.
“These conversations require insights from people directly connected to ethical porn content production,” she said. “As such, the site includes perspectives on ethical porn from a wide scope of industry insiders, including Angela White, Kristel Penn and Jacky St. James, among many others.”
“We are looking for insights and input from all corners of the industry. What do you think about ethical porn?”
