Steve Wynn's Brother Investigated for Child Porn

LAS VEGAS, Nevada – Kenny Wynn, the brother of Steve Wynn, the famous Vegas hotelier and owner of the Bellagio Hotel, became the subject of a child pornography investigation this week.

According to the Las Vegas Review Journal, Kenny Wynn became a target in the investigation when his name was discovered on a website that functioned like a cyber trading post for child porn content.

No charges have yet been filed, according to reports, but a search warrant was issued this week and task force agents have searched Kenny Wynn's Nevada home and seized all computer equipment.

Police are currently scanning the contents of Wynn's hard drive for any implicating material or connections to the child porn website, sources say.

Kenny Wynn, 50, the former president and director of Wynn Development and Design, abruptly resigned last week from his position, the Las Vegas Review Journal reports. But prior to his departure, Kenny Wynn was in charge of spearheading a $1.6 billion dollar hotel development project on the Las Vegas Strip.

The child pornography investigation is part of a larger sting operation being conducted by the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) called Operation Predator, which began in July 2003 and has so far resulted in 1,700 arrests.

According to the Las Vegas Review Journal, the search warrant for Wynn's home was sealed. Brother Steve Wynn has not been available for comment.

Kenny Wynn was snared up in a Gaming Control Board investigation in 1992 over allegations of substance abuse. He admitted to using marijuana and cocaine and received treatment.
