Jessica Drake Named 2017 XBIZ Sexpert of the Year

LOS ANGELES — Wicked Pictures’ Jessica Drake has been named the 2017 XBIZ Sexpert of the Year.

The award honored the adult star for her ongoing work spreading the message of sexual health and wellness through personal appearances, her own writings, media articles and interviews.

“I am so honored to receive this award from XBIZ,” Drake said. “I began exploring my passion for sex ed almost five years ago, creating my ‘Guide to Wicked Sex’ and doing seminars, and quickly realized the need for shame free, non-judgmental, consent-aware sex education was greater than I first realized.

“In the years since, with the support of many incredible individuals, I have grown as an educator and realized the importance of diversity and inclusion as well,” she continued. “I owe many thanks to the community that has gotten to know me as an adult star, and embraced me as I've entered new territory. I could not be here without your support and guidance. I give special thanks to Steve, Daniel, Brad and everyone at Wicked Pictures, my team at FAM and I appreciate the recognition from everyone at XBIZ.”

Drake has been a vocal advocate for sex education through her award-winning instructional series “Jessica Drake’s Guide to Wicked Sex,” which she hosts, writes, directs and produces.

The 2017 XBIZ award follows the Rise Image Award that she received on Nov. 16 for her work in sex education advocacy and crossover work representing the adult industry.

“Jessica continues to grow as a sex educator and humanitarian,” said Steve Orenstein, Wicked Pictures owner. “I'm proud to see her receive these well-deserved awards.”
