ASACP Returns to Hollywood for XBIZ 2017

LOS ANGELES — The Association of Sites Advocating Child Protection (ASACP) has announced that Executive Director Tim Henning and Membership Manager Dawn Yagielowicz will be attending XBIZ 2017, to be held Jan. 9-13 at the Andaz Hotel on West Hollywood's Sunset Strip.

"The XBIZ Show is the year’s premiere event, kicking off the 2017 show circuit with a broad selection of business professionals representing all segments of the adult industry,” Henning said. “Access to such an elite audience of stakeholders allows ASACP to reach numerous decision makers, who can make a real difference in protecting children online. It is a vital beginning for the new year’s fundraising efforts, and an event that ASACP has attended since the XBIZ Show’s inception.”

ASACP will have an exhibit at XBIZ 2017’s Mix and Meet Market, where Henning said attendees and exhibitors will “connect over an array of advanced products, services and solutions.” There, Henning said, he hopes to meet with current and prospective sponsors to discuss ways in which companies can promote online child protection.

ASACP will also have an information booth near the seminar hall as well as an ad in the official show guide and flyers in XBIZ 2017’s gift bags. And ASACP will present its annual Service Recognition Award at the 2017 XBIZ Exec Awards on Tues., Jan. 10 and participate in a joint fundraiser with the Free Speech Coalition (FSC) at the XBIZ Awards on Thurs., Jan. 12.

“XBIZ’s annual fundraiser at the XBIZ Awards gala provides an opportunity for everyone in the industry to support ASACP’s mission to protect children online,” Henning said. “This support enables ASACP to carry out its various initiatives such as the development of the Restricted To Adults (RTA) website meta label. This free tool allows frontline firms to make a positive difference in children’s daily digital lives, and proves that the adult industry is truly a responsible partner in keeping children out of and away from age-inappropriate material.”
