LOS ANGELES — CNV has announced the naming of Ann Houlihan as its new CEO, replacing “Sex Toy Dave” Levine who is ending his 22-year reign as the company’s CEO.
Along with this change, Tom Mercer will become the company’s CTO.
Ann Houlihan started with CNV seven years ago as a contract bookkeeper, and then became full-time controller, VP of Operations, and now CEO.
“Ann has built strong relationships with our partners based on integrity and performance,” Levine says. “Ann has increased margins not just by cutting costs, but by improving the performance of teams and individuals.”
“I am thrilled at the opportunity to carry on Dave’s legacy,” Houlihan says. “I look forward to adding my own brand of leadership at CNV.
Prior to joining CNV, Houlihan was the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Compliance Officer of Froley, Revy Investment Co., a large registered investment advisor.
CNV owns SexToy.com, AdultShopping.com, and several other adult product channels. Dave Levine is leaving CNV to focus on new ventures in the online education space. One of his new businesses, TakeOverMyBrain.com, will launch in 2017.
