LOS ANGELES — The Sparks Entertainment parody “Beauty and the Beast XXX,” directed by Harry Sparks and distributed by Exquisite, has scored nine nominations in the 2017 XBIZ Awards, to be held on Thursday, Jan. 12 at the Westin Bonaventure Hotel in Downtown Los Angeles and hosted by Ron Jeremy.
Harry Sparks is nominated for Director of the Year: Parody as well as Best Art Direction, Best Special Effects and Best Music, and the film itself is up for Parody Release of the Year.
Dani Daniels received a nomination for Best Actress: Parody Release, while Xander Corvus is nominated for Best Actor: Parody Release and James Bartholet is nominated for Best Non-Sex Performance. And Daniels and Corvus are also nominated for Best Sex Scene: Parody Release.
“’Beauty and the Beast’ was a labor of love, and I worked extremely hard on it,” Sparks said. “I only release a few movies a year because so much goes into each one. I’m honored and humbled that XBIZ showered the cast and me with so many nominations.”
