Mick Blue Lands 14 XBIZ Awards Nominations

LOS ANGELES — Mick Blue has been nominated in 14 categories in the 2017 XBIZ Awards, to be held on Thursday, Jan. 12 at the Westin Bonaventure Hotel in Downtown Los Angeles and hosted by Ron Jeremy.

In addition to being nominated for Male Performer of the Year, Blue is up for Best Actor: Feature Release for Adam & Eve’s “Babysitting the Baumgartners” and Best Actor: Couples-Themed Release for Adam & Eve’s “Open Couples.” Blue is nominated in ten Best Sex Scene categories, and “Mick Loves Anikka” — which he co-directed with wife Anikka Albrite for BAM Visions/Evil Angel — is nominated for Gonzo Release of the Year.

“I couldn’t be happier with the XBIZ Awards nominations,” Blue said. “They really hit on a lot of my finer moments of the year, and I’m extremely proud that so much of the work is being recognized.”
