LAS VEGAS — The Erotic Heritage Museum and Batterman’s Auction are teaming up for an erotic art auction, to be held at the EHM in Las Vegas on Saturday, Nov. 19 at noon.
“This is a premier auction event held with Batterman’s and the Erotic Heritage Museum for the sale of art and materials on display at the Museum to make way for new artists and exhibits and items from private collections not before available to the public,” said Dr. Victoria Hartmann, executive director of the Erotic Heritage Museum. “Join us for the action and the ability to own a wide variety of erotica. Examples include sculpture, original art, limited edition lithographs, Sorayama, a custom Hardtail motorcycle (The Deja Vu), installation art pieces and erotic memorabilia.”
“Pieces come from around the globe, including Japan, China, Europe and Africa,” Hartmann said. “There are many antiques and unusual pieces from the 19th and 20th (centuries).”
Kurt Vogel, Batterman’s co-owner and auctioneer, said, “Batterman’s is pleased and excited to join the Erotic Heritage Museum in presiding over this unusual and rich concentration of quality erotica. (We’re) presenting this collection for the first time to the public in an auction which promises to be an exciting kickoff event, and the public may look forward to others like it.”
The Erotic Heritage Museum is located at 3275 Sammy Davis Jr. Blvd.
