BOSTON — JOPEN announced that it sponsored Harvard University’s recent sixth annual Sex Week series of events, which ended yesterday.
Harvard's Sex Week, which took place Oct. 31-Nov. 6, was coordinated by the Sexual Health and Education and Advocacy Throughout Harvard (SHEATH) group. A recognized student-run organization, the group promotes programming that provides a holistic understanding of sex and sexuality.
There were 12 events scheduled, including seminars and workshops touching on sexual stereotypes, gender, sex toys, condoms and other sexual health related topics.
"JOPEN is a company that promotes progressive sexual attitudes, and we believe that education and information are vital for making the right choices when it comes to our overall well-being," said Susan Colvin, founder and CEO of JOPEN. "We commend SHEATH and are proud to help them in their mission to raise awareness about sex and sexuality during Harvard Sex Week."
Robin Stewart, brand manager for JOPEN, added, "JOPEN was honored to be involved with SHEATH. Their commitment to educating people about sexual health, pleasure and sexuality is commendable."
