LOS ANGELES — The organizers of the Heaven & Hell Halloween Party have announced that California’s Proposition 60 will be the main theme at the event, which will take place on Saturday, Oct. 29 from 10 p.m.-3 a.m. at the W Hotel in Hollywood, Calif.
The event is being thrown by Scott David, Danny B and director Will Ryder. According to a spokesperson, they “have decided to bring more attention (to) the effort to defeat Proposition 60 — which, if passed, will harass adult entertainment performers and producers and completely change the current safe landscape of the adult movie business.”
Proposition 60, which will be on the California state ballot in the November election, would mandate the use of condoms in all adult films shot in California if passed.
“This is a very hot issue,” Ryder said. “No on 60.”
Ryder said, "We marched with over 200 adult industry performers, producers and agents down Sunset Blvd. Monday with the goal to bring more visibility and truth to voters and decided to make our annual Halloween bash a centerpiece for the fight against Prop 60 to help raise even more awareness and funds for the Free Speech Coalition to combat this terrible ballot choice put before California voters in the most disingenuous of ways.”
David said, “Don't sit this one out. Show up to the Halloween party and be seen and heard. So please tweet about the event and Prop 60 and attend with your friends because this could be a turning point for everyone associated with adult entertainment."
Ryder said, “Plus, it will be a really fun night."
Adult performers who will be featured in the Hell Room of the Heaven & Hell Halloween Party include Lisa Daniels, Kat Dior, Jezebel Vessir, Tory Lane, Misty Stone, Jenna Ivory, Jenny Hendrix, Luna Star, Mercedes Carrera, Sarah Vandella, Akira Lane, Nikki Delano, Ziggy Star, Kimberly Chi, Priya Price, Lilly Evans, Lolly Ink, Kimmy Granger, Marica Hase, Bailey Rayne, Loni Legend, Briana Ashley, Angel Del Rey, Jayden Cole, Danielle Diamond, Divinity Carter and Tiffany Watson.
A full bar and waitress service will be featured in the VIP area, where Lauren Phillips and Lucky Starr will be passing out treats. Zoey Monroe will be the official party mistress, and “Inside the Industry” host James Bartholet will handle special MC duties.
"Any donation for the fight against Prop 60 will help even if it's five dollars,” Bartholet said. “So let's have fun and do something good at the same time.”
