NEW YORK CITY — Vivid Entertainment has announced Savanna Samson will be the first performer to be inducted into its new Vivid Entertainment Hall of Fame (VEHOF) at an open-to-the-public event on Tuesday, Oct. 25 at Vivid Cabaret in New York City (61 W. 37th St.) at 7 p.m.
Samson is a New Yorker and was one of the exclusive contract actresses known as a Vivid Girl. She has won multiple awards for her work and is best known for such titles as "The New Devil in Miss Jones," "The Masseuse," "Flasher" and "Looking In," among many others.
“I love linking my wine with my induction into the Vivid Entertainment Hall of Fame as they are both major events in my life,” noted Samson. “I will continue to produce Sogno Vero on a yearly basis and give it my all each time hoping that my fans will enjoy it as much as they do my movies.”
Plaques, photos and film clips featuring the VEHOF honorees will be displayed at Vivid’s headquarters building on Cahuenga Blvd in Los Angeles and at Vivid Cabaret in midtown Manhattan. Vivid founder and co-chairman Steven Hirsch decided to create the Vivid Hall of Fame to honor the outstanding performers who have contributed to the company’s status as a world leader in adult filmmaking for more than 30 years.
“Savanna is a woman of great talent and beauty," Hirsch stated. "She has many interests and was always very professional about her acting. We’re not the least surprised that she is now successful with her wine company. We’re honoring Savanna as our first inductee into the VEHOF because she was passionate about her work with us. She loved everything about being an adult star and totally enjoyed her time with Vivid as we did with her. She continues to be a wonderful ambassador for the company.”
Fans are invited to Vivid Cabaret at 7 p.m. on Oct. 25 to meet Samson and to join in the celebration for her. The upscale gentlemen’s club is operated under a license from Vivid by RCI Hospitality Holdings, Inc.
