TAMPA, Fla. — Director Will Ryder was inducted into to the NightMoves Hall of Fame at NightMoves Magazine’s 24th annual NightMoves Awards, which were held on Sunday at the Round Up in Tampa.
Ryder also won Best Feature Production for Adam & Eve’s “Love, Sex & TV News” as well as Best Director — Parody: Editor’s Choice and NightMoves' First Choice award for “Not Traci Lords XXX '80s Superstars Reborn” from X-Play/Pulse.
"I had a hell of a time getting there, as my connecting flight from Chicago flew off before I even landed,” Ryder said. “So I had to walk around O'Hare for 13 hours. I felt like Tom Hanks in the movie ‘Terminal,’ but I was afraid to get a hotel room because my flight was rescheduled for 7 a.m. the next morning — and I knew I would miss it if I got a room and felt tempted to maybe call up Hillary Scott and invite her over for a reunion dinner."
Art Koch, national features and DVD editor for NightMoves Magazine, said, “Will Ryder and Axel Braun are two of our most awarded adult movie celebrities. So it was really great when Will made the trip.”
Ryder said, “Art is a great guy with that deep radio-ready voice, and he's always been very supportive of the movies Scott David and I make. In fact, the entire NightMoves crew, including Paul and Tracy Allen, Art, Lenny Mumbles, Drew Rock and the rest of the NightMoves staff, were great — and we had a wonderful time staying on the beautiful Tampa Bay and going to more strip joints than any man deserves.”
