PENNSAUKEN, N.J. — Veteran adult distributor Williams Trading Co. is offering adult retailers full merchandising support promoting Breast Cancer Awareness Month during the month of October.
Williams Trading Co.’s website has “gone pink” and now offers a retailer resource page that can be accessed here.
“Every October, there is an explosion of pink ribbons as the nation honors Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Why? Because sexual health & wellness matters,” the company says. “Fifty two percent of all adult brick & mortar customers are women and breast cancer is the second most common kind of cancer in women. About one in eight women born today in the U.S. will get breast cancer at some point.
Williams Trading offers tips on what retailers can do to support breast cancer awareness.
CalExotics has announced an Inspire My October in store merchandising contest. Retailers are encouraged to send in pictures of their in-store merchandising of the Inspire line of products and breast cancer awareness support using all the tools provided to them. Free swag and gifts with purchase are available by contacting a sales representative. The winning store will receive a gift basket of CalExotics products for all store employees.
“Cal Exotics donates five percent the net profit generated from Inspire sales back to Living Beyond Breast Cancer (lbbc.org),” says Josh LeDuff, CalExotics marketing director. “The more retailers who participate, the more support we can give our friends and family affected by breast cancer. This is such a win-win for our industry and for the nonprofit sector.”
Classic Erotica has announced the Pretty In Pink in store merchandising contest. Retailers are encouraged to send in pictures of their breast cancer awareness efforts. The winning store will receive a gift basket of Classic Erotica products for all store employees.
“Classic Erotica is a wildly popular brand among women so it makes perfect sense to show our retailers support this October,” says Janette Bilodeaux, director of marketing. “Our products make women feel pretty, sexy and confident. This is so important to anyone struggling with breast cancer or recovering from it.”
Williams Trading also says online retailers can incorporate pink into their site’s background during the month of October to show their support of breast cancer awareness.
“We want our adult retailers to go full-on pink during October so we’ve provided the tools and material they’ll need to be successful,” says Williams Trading’s Erin Viereck. “ Web banners, logos and technical assistance can be accessed for free at Williams Trading Company.”
