LOS ANGELES — Wicked Pictures and director Brad Armstrong have announced the release of sci-fi thriller "DNA," starring contract stars jessica drake and Asa Akira.
A three-minute SFW trailer is now available on YouTube and the box cover for the title is available here.
Armstrong remarked, “DNA turned out amazingly well — the locations, sets and wardrobe really came together to create another time and place, which is always so important when delving into the science fiction genre. jessica and Asa were fantastic. They have amazing chemistry together onscreen, both in their acting sequences and sex scenes. We also had a great supporting cast, as each performer brought a little something extra to the movie. As a director, I couldn’t be more proud of their efforts.”
In the film, Lidia Kline (drake) works her way up the corporate ladder at Iterum Industries, which specializes in reuniting clients, via cloning, with loved ones who have passed away. But this “Re-Life” service comes at a hefty price, as the clones — called "carbons" — have a lifespan of only 72 hours, and irregularities have been detected in the cloning process.
But Lidia and her boss, owner Malcolm Moore (Armstrong), are more concerned about increasing their clientele because of the overhead. Looking for other sources of funding, Malcolm and Lidia cozy up to a congressman, even showing him a good time with a couple of sexy clones. But things take a turn for the bizarre when one of the carbons, Kayla (Akira) becomes aware of her former life. The cloning irregularities worsen, this time leading to disastrous results. But at Iterum, nothing is permanent. Not even death…
In addition to drake, Akira and Armstrong, the cast includes Vanessa Veracruz, Cristi Ann, Ryan Driller, Small Hands, Abigail Mac, Chanel Preston, Abella Danger, Courtney Taylor, Scarlet Red, Eric Masterson, Tommy Gunn and more.
In tandem with the release of the film's cover art and trailer, Wicked is promoting the film to social media audiences via "The History and Mystery of DNA" promotional sweepstakes, which affords those following the company's official Twitter account opportunities to win copies of the two-disc, gatefold sleeve DVD by answering topical questions about DNA, the very genetic code which defines humanity's physical make up.
