NORTH HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Doc Johnson’s OptiMALE Rechargeable Vibrating C-Ring is named “Best Couples Toy” in this month’s issue of Cosmopolitan Magazine, which hit newsstands this week.
It is Doc Johnson’s second product to receive accolades in Cosmopolitan this year, with its Tryst massager being named “Sex Toy of the Month” in the magazine’s June issue.
“We’re very pleased that our OptiMALE Rechargeable Vibrating C-Ring was named ‘Best Couples Toy’ in Cosmopolitan,” said Doc Johnson’s director of product development Cheryl Hanslip. “Unlike traditional vibrating c-rings designed with the vibrator in a sideways position, the OptiMALE Rechargeable Vibrating C-Ring was conceived with an innovative motor placement that allows for uninterrupted clitoral contact throughout penetration.”
Hanslip added, “Doc Johnson’s product development team has always sought to fill gaps in the pleasure products market, and improve on industry-standard product types that previously fell short in specific ways. The OptiMALE Rechargeable Vibrating C-Ring is a perfect example of that. We’re overjoyed with the reception it’s getting from our customers and the press.”
In addition to the magazine’s announcement of the OptiMALE Rechargeable Vibrating C-Ring as their “Best Couples Toy,” Cosmopolitan also describes the c-ring/clitoral-vibe combo as the ultimate toy to use “while you’re sexin’, promising a huge finish for you both.”
‘At first it made me laugh because I’m ticklish,” said the Cosmopolitan toy tester. “But then, whoa. Multiple climaxes had by all!”
Doc Johnson has had a streak of mainstream press, coming on the heels of coverage that includes a full-length story in the New York Post, an exclusive two-page spread in Women’s Health Magazine, a video profile on the front page of BuzzFeed entitled “How Sex Toys Are Made,” and a lengthy interview in Forbes.
