LOS ANGELES — Cybersocket has announced that Chaturbate has signed on as a gold sponsor of the 17th annual Cybersocket Web Awards, to be held on Mon., Jan. 9, 2017.
Shirley Lara, chief operations officer for Chaturbate, said, "Thank you, Cybersocket, for bringing the LGBT community together to honor the movers and shakers of the industry and allowing Chaturbate to be part of it.”
The Cybersocket Web Awards show honors achievements of gay adult websites. Each year, outstanding websites are recognized for their accomplishments in both "Surfers' Choice" and "Industry Choice" categories.
A Cybersocket spokesperson said, “We feel that it is essential to honor these individuals and companies for being technological entrepreneurs, agents of free expression and innovators in gay online media and entertainment. Each year at the awards show, the winners are announced and presented with a one-of-a-kind Cybersocket trophy.”
This year's nominees will be announced on Saturday, Sept. 10, with voting through Nov. 31. Then, the winners will be announced at the Cybersocket Web Awards show in January.
