2017 XBIZ Awards Pre-Nom Period Now Open

LOS ANGELES — XBIZ has opened its pre-nomination period for the adult industry's biggest night, the 2017 XBIZ Awards, hosted by adult film legend Ron Jeremy and presented by premier webcam community MyFreeCams.

Pre-nominations can be submitted from Sept. 1 to midnight on Fri., Sept. 30. To submit pre-nominations in any of the awards categories, industry professionals must be registered members of the XBIZ.net social network and use the online submission form to record their entries.

Five new award categories have been added for the 2017 show in an effort to be more inclusive of previously unrecognized market segments and in response to feedback from members of the adult industry.

In the Movies & Production field, for the first time an honor will be given to Best Sex Scene —Virtual Reality, in light of the expanding VR sector.

For the Web & Tech segment, XBIZ will introduce award categories for Cam Studio of the Year and Adult Site of the Year — Live Cam (Gay).

Within the realm of Pleasure Products, new awards will be given in the categories of Sexual Health & Wellness Brand of the Year and Sex Enhancement Product of the Year.

In order to be eligible for consideration for a 2017 XBIZ Award, movies and pleasure products must be released between Oct. 1, 2015 and Sept. 30, 2016.

Links to digital media works, marketing material and/or website login information should be provided via the online submission form.
