NEW YORK — CineKink, "the kinky film festival," has announced it is returning to Oakland for a one-night stand on Sept. 8 at 9 p.m. (PST). Screening at The New Parkway (474 24th Street, Oakland), "Best of CineKink/2016” is a collection of "sexy shorts" deemed the best during CineKink's most recent festival run.
This year's assortment, with works ranging from documentary to drama, comedy to experimental and mildly spicy to quite explicit, includes "Pepper" (Patrick Aubert), "Dad in Mum" (Fabrice Bracq), "Everybody Does It" (Megan Brotherton), "Feminist Porn Filmmakers" (Lora Hristova), "Wild Lovers" (Isabel Dresler), "I Am a Tourist I Would Like to See Him Naked" (Margie Schnibbe), "Locked" (René de Sans and Mamana), "RITES" (BunnyZ) and "An Appointment With My Master"(Erika Lust).
Filmmaker Isabel Dresler and performer Jiz Lee will join CineKink's festival director and curator, Lisa Vandever, for a post-screening discussion.
