“All of the sudden, my social media started blowing up, and I see I’m on Bossip and Hip Hop News Wire,” Benton said. “I was surprised, but very pleasantly so. I put a lot into my image and social media; I take selfies every day, and I connect with my fans. These are the parts of being a performer I very much enjoy. To see it pay off in mainstream media warms my heart.”
