Nadia Ali Declines Trump Parody, Takes Break From Scenes

NEW YORK — Part 2 of Nadia Ali’s video interview for Refinery29.com has been released. In the interview, the Pakistani adult star — who identifies as a "practicing Muslim" — said she decided to take a break from doing scenes after she was asked to wear her hijab in a parody scene spoofing Donald Trump.

“After doing 20 scenes, I quit because I realized in some of the scenes, [producers] were trying to make Middle Eastern people look bad,” Ali told Refinery29. “They offered me a scene where an all-American white guy, dressed like Donald Trump, is fucking a Muslim girl; that wasn’t going to be my 21st scene.”

Refinery29.com also reported that after Ali's successful debut at the New York City members-only adult entertainment club HQNYC, she hit a snag in her desire to launch a new career in feature dancing. Several of her bookings, according to Ali, have been cancelled out of fear of anti-Muslim sentiment in the wake of the recent Pulse Nightclub attack in Orlando, Fla.

Ali, who is represented by Centerfold Strips for feature dancing, will be appearing at the upcoming TeXXXas Convention in Houston from Aug. 17-21.

Ali told Refinery 29 that although she has her limits, she plans to remain in the adult industry.

“It’s okay to be conservative and still have a sexual side,” Ali said during the Refinery29.com interview. “I still want to show that on camera.”
