BaDoinkVR Unveils 'Virtual Sexology' Initiative

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — BaDoinkVR today announced the availability of “Virtual Sexology,” a new content initiative that, according to the company, was designed to "broaden the scope of erotic entertainment."

Utilizing VR technology and teledildonic connectivity, BaDoink CEO Todd Glider said the “cutting-edge” VR experience features never-before-used technology for sex education and therapy to help enhance sexual pleasure and performance — both solo and with partners.

"With Virtual Sexology, we're moving the needle, bringing 'edutainment' to porn, bridging the gap between eroticism and education," Glider said. "Utilizing virtual reality and teledildonic tech, BaDoinkVR delivers a unique and innovative platform that will change the way people experience porn, and broaden expectations of what porn is capable of."

BaDoinkVR is a pioneering virtual reality adult entertainment production company that was honored this year for Adult Site of the Year — Virtual Reality at the 2016 XBIZ Awards. Its paid subscription service offers both 180 and 360-degree immersive videos featuring motion tracking, binaural audio, and today's hottest adult entertainment stars.

Glider said users will learn “unique, proven methods to improve their abilities in the bedroom while instilling relaxation, control and confidence.”

He said that BaDoinkVR worked closely with Hernando Chaves, a marriage and family therapist, to develop the content and the variety of exercises that are featured in Virtual Sexology.

“People have always looked to pornography to get ideas about different ways to experience pleasure," Chaves said. "Including education within porn can help individuals and couples combine pleasure with skills training and confidence building to enhance their sexual and relational experiences."

BaDoinkVR's Virtual Sexology features porn star August Ames, who will guide users through a series of exercises, including breathing techniques, Kegel exercises and the start/stop method.

Gliders said that Virtual Sexology is compatible with the Kiiroo Onyx male masturbator, which will sync in real-time with the video content, “meaning that every on-screen thrust initiates a corresponding tactile sensation for the user.”
