LOS ANGELES — Adult performer Jay Taylor is branching out into mainstream activities with Crackhorse Productions, an independent film company she co-founded with partner Sean Williams.
One of Crackhorse’s recent projects is “Wish Granted,” a comedy/horror film featuring Nickelodeon regular Caleb Thomas as well as adult industry talent such as Dick Chibbles and Justin Hunt. And Crackhourse is in the process of making a new comedy titled “Welfare of My Mental Health.”
“We're dedicated to learning through doing and to that end, have produced two seasons of a Web series, a half dozen shorts, and a few music and industrial videos,” Taylor said. “We also rent out our film equipment and expertise to other production companies and projects. I have experience as a grip, production assistant, script supervisor, best boy, and assistant director, but my passion is in producing. I like to be a creative enabler and feel like my job is to make things as easy as possible on those that are creating and that my responsibility is all the busy work like scheduling, paperwork, and keeping track of the progression of the shoot.”
Taylor entered the adult industry in 2010, starting out as a cam model before branching out into fetish modeling and films. Taylor has worked with Kink.com, Wicked Pictures, Penthouse, Zero Tolerance, Sweetheart Video, Devil’s Film, Adam & Eve and James Deen Productions.
