In a prepared statement, event organizers for the NightMoves Awards said, “The NightMoves Awards were started in 1993 and are the third oldest continuously running adult awards show in the United States. The NightMoves Awards are an offshoot of NightMoves Magazine, owned and operated by Paul and Tracy Allen. The NightMoves Awards were the first to allow fans to select the winners, making it the original fan-based awards. They were also the first awards show to allow online voting.”
