SAN JOSE, Calif. — Hustler Hollywood will be opening its first retail store in Northern California in late September or early October.
The store will open at an existing 6,000-square-foot former Bank of the West building in San Jose, Calif.
Larry Flynt, founder of the sex toy and novelty store chain, reportedly scouted the location, which is part of a shopping center along Bascom Avenue and Stevens Creek Boulevard in San Jose. Flynt plans to invest $1 million in renovations.
Hustler Hollywood’s San Jose location will be the 20th store in the chain and sell Hustler-branded lingerie and sex toys and novelties, among other products.
The grand opening, like all other of Hustler Hollywood’s other openings, is slated to include an appearance by Flynt, who will sign copies of Hustler Magazine and judge a local "Hustler Honey" search contest.
Hustler Hollywood currently has three openings for the new store: one store manager and three assistant manager slots.
