MELBOURNE — Morpheous' Bondage Extravaganza (MBE) will have a dedicated space at Sexpo Melbourne 2016, to be held Nov. 24-27 at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre in Australia. A Sexpo spokesperson described MBE as "the largest rope bondage exhibition in the world."
MBE, according to a Sexpo spokesperson, "combines rope bondage with artistic performance designed to entertain and educate all adults to the joys of sexual expression." MBE and Sexpo are both celebrating landmark anniversaries this year, with MBE celebrating 10 years and Sexpo celebrating 20 years.
MBE's inclusion in Sexpo Melbourne 2016 will involve a performance on the main stage each day as well as an MBE-sponsored seminar each day. On Sat., Nov. 26, MBE will take over the Fetish Room for MBE Melbourne, which will involve multiple performances throughout the night.
"Sexpo attendees can expect to see incredible artistic rope and bondage performances centered on world and Australian mythology," according to a Sexpo spokesperson.
Brian Robertson, worldwide manager for MBE, said, "We're confident that we can bring something to Sexpo that regular Sexpo attendees have never seen before. MBE is about changing impressions of BDSM, fetish, and sexual expression in general, and we have been doing that in Toronto and around the world for 10 years. Sexpo has been doing it for an incredible 20 years, and we just thought it would be the perfect fit for us as a brand. We're so proud to be a part of it."
Sexpo Event Manager Bentleigh Gibson said, "Sexpo is always looking for attractions which broaden Sexpo's appeal, and at the same time, provide those BDSM enthusiasts a platform through which they can enjoy their passion. This is a logical fit with the Sexpo business model."
