Lovehoney Ranked 51st Fastest Growing International Company by The Sunday Times

BATH, England — Leading online sex toy retailer Lovehoney has been ranked at number 51 in the seventh annual Sunday Times HSBC International Track 200.

The Sunday Times HSBC International Track 200 ranks Britain's mid-market private companies with the fastest-growing international sales, measured over the last two years of available accounts.

Lovehoney is ranked at number 51 nationally and number six for the South West region after overseas sales grew 60 percent over the last two years.

The Bath-based business has launched websites in the U.S., Australia, France, Germany, the E.U. and most recently, Canada. The company says it has benefited from the popularity of “Fifty Shades of Grey,” for which it holds the worldwide license for pleasure products.

Lovehoney co-founder Neal Slateford said, “We’re thrilled to have made the Sunday Times’ top 200 fastest growing international companies for a second year running.”

Lovehoney also recieved a Queen’s Award for Enterprise in International Trade earlier in the year.

Companies also featured in this year’s league table include the likes of Mountain Warehouse, Skyscanner and Missguided.

Amanda Murphy, U.K. head of corporate banking at HSBC, said, “The Sunday Times HSBC International Track 200 is a great reflection of the value of building connections overseas.

“The world is getting smaller and for ambitious businesses, the opportunities to source goods and services and to grow organically via international trade, digitally or on the ground, are easier than ever.

“I'm delighted to see so many HSBC-backed mid-sized firms making such a strong impression on the world stage."

In April, Lovehoney also ranked at number 94 in the Sunday Times BDO Profit Track 100 league table which ranks private businesses with the fastest growing profits over three years.

The full league table was published in an eight-page supplement with the business section of The Sunday Times on June 12, both in print and on the digital edition, and on FastTrack.co.uk.
