VAN NUYS, Calif. — The Rabbit Company has released the Pink Ribbon Rabbit, announcing that a portion of every sale will be donated to the Eileen Stein Jacoby Fund to raise money for breast cancer research. The donations will continue as long as the vibrator is being produced.
The Eileen Stein Jacoby Fund, a volunteer-based organization, supports breast cancer research by organizing community-based fundraising events and donating the proceeds to research scientists engaged in the fight against breast cancer. The organization was founded in 2000 by Cheryl Stein Herman and her family in memory of her sister, Eileen Jacoby, and places a special emphasis on involving young participants.
Many of the Eileen Stein Jacoby fundraising events are organized and led by students. "By participating in important fundraising events, these students learn invaluable life lessons about responsibility, organization, teamwork and leadership," a spokesperson said.
Chaney Cox, brand manager for the Rabbit Company, said, "We are completely honored to be assisting the Eileen Stein Jacoby Fund in their breast cancer cause. With our lifetime donation commitment, our goal is to really make an impact on breast cancer research."
