Miami's CamCon 2016 Draws Over 800 Registrants and Counting

MIAMI — CamCon 2016, the camming industry's top trade show, has announced over 800 people from around the world will partake in the three day B2B and fan event from May 31 to June 3 at the SLS South Beach in Miami, Florida.

"We have seen tremendous response and growth from those in the industry who have decided to descend upon CamCon in Miami and meet with their fellow peers to discuss the amazing opportunities that are taking place in this growing community, " said Clinton Cox, co-founder and organizer of CamCon. He added that live content businesses, performers and camming devotees recognize CamCon's importance as a central gathering place for this rapidly growing industry.

CamCon has expressed its excitement over working with one of the event sponsors, ModelCentro, where models for the company have the opportunity to win a trip to the expo in Miami. Calling this "The CamCon 2016 Model Experience," ModelCentro is giving its models who are using their membership site platform the opportunity to raise money towards attending CamCon via their widget. The two models who raise the most funds will have their trip to CamCon completely sponsored by ModelCentro. For details about the CamCon campaign, visit ModelCentro.com/MC-Blog

“CamCon is a great event with which to start off this functionality,” said Natalie Ray, project manager of ModelCentro.

“Models will be able to use this feature with other events and other fundraising endeavors," Ray added. "The CamCon campaign is easily enabled on the model's admin interface, so we encourage all models to give crowdfunding a try.”

Interest in the expo, now in its third year, has hit an all-time high: cam work is currently a major attraction of internet entertainment and a significant growth industry where fans can interact in real-time with their favorite models. This delivers a level of interactivity not typically found in DVD and subscription-based offerings.

The convention will feature over 150 cam entertainers, social media stars and the top companies in the industry, such as LiveJasmin, FreeWebCams, Chaturbate, Naked, Camster, ModelCentro, Vuier and many more. They will be exhibiting alongside card payment processing, hardware and software providers and web advertisers, seeking to network with new talent and up-and-coming businesses within the camming industry.

The new CamCon  2016 event dates will coincide with XBIZ's summer show at SLS to ensure maximum efficiency for those looking to get as much out of their conference time in Miami as possible. Tickets are $125 per day, $225 for two days, plus seminars (18 and over only). SLS South Beach is located at 1701 Collins Avenue in Miami Beach, Florida 33139.
