Calvista Secures Distribution of Hot Octopuss in Australia, New Zealand

MELBOURNE — U.K.-based intimacy product company Hot Octopuss has partnered exclusively with Calvista for distribution in Australia and New Zealand.

"Hot Octopuss is expanding its distribution in Australia and New Zealand and have chosen Calvista as their distribution partner due to their outstanding reach and reputation in the region," said Adam Lewis, CEO/founder of Hot Octopuss and co-creator of their sex toy Pulse.

Launched in September 2013, Pulse, aka The Guybrator, was Hot Octopuss' first product. Hot Octopuss went on to release two additional products, Pulse II Duo and Pulse II Solo, in 2015.

"The two new products built upon the success of the original, while retaining its pioneering qualities (and) allowing men to use the device from both flaccid and erect states and therefore, offering a welcome solution for men and couples whose sex lives may be suffering," a spokesperson said.

The partnership between Hot Octopuss and Calvista was unveiled at Calvista's Adultex trade show in late April, and the products were well received and supported by Calvista's customers.

"Calvista is thrilled with the exclusive distribution and partnership with Hot Octopuss," said Roger Sheldon-Collins, general manager for Calvista. "The Pulse II collection represents cutting-edge innovation and two unique additions to Calvista's portfolio. We anticipate an incredibly exciting future."
