LOS ANGELES — XBIZ Award-winning director Axel Braun has announced the availability of various crowdfunding perks that supporters of "The Empire Strikes Back XXX: An Axel Braun Parody" can choose from when contributing to the campaign.
Many of the perks provide fans with a unique opportunity to go behind the curtain of the adult industry. Rewards for donors range from a script or movie poster signed by the cast, to sitting in on a rehearsal, a visit to the movie’s Los Angeles or Alaska sets or a dinner date with the cast.
Additionally, walk-on and speaking role rewards will give supporters a special look at the closely guarded world of adult movie production with one of the porn industry’s most honored directors.
“Donors will have the chance to see how an adult film is made as a true member of the movie’s production team with our perks,” Braun said. “It’s truly a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for fans to join us on set and go behind the scenes of a major adult film with some of the biggest stars in the industry. We encourage our supporters to join us and help us make this movie a reality!”

Already, supporters have claimed a date with Leia, which includes being adult star Allie Haze’s date to the premiere party, and the Chewbacca costume worn by Dick Chibbles in "Star Wars XXX: An Axel Braun Parody." Both opportunities to visit the movie’s set in Alaska were also claimed for $3,000 a piece.
The film’s crowdfunding campaign aims to raise $500,000 by April 22 as part of Braun’s effort to combat movie piracy by offering the movie free of charge online once completed. When successful, it will become the first adult feature film to be produced entirely from the proceeds of a crowdfunding campaign.
"The Empire Strikes Back XXX: An Axel Braun Parody" includes returning cast members Allie Haze, Lexington Steele, Seth Gamble, Riley Steele, Carter Cruise, Aiden Ashley, Dani Daniels, Dick Chibbles, Steven St. Croix, Casey Calvert and Asa Akira, on special loan from Wicked Pictures.
The movie is scheduled to begin production on June 1 and continue for 28 days in California, Nevada and Alaska. It will be released on September 30.
