OAKLAND, Calif. — After hearing five hours of passionate and sometimes emotional testimony from members of the adult entertainment industry on Thursday, California’s Occupational Safety & Health Standards Board’s panel voted to ditch a set of proposed workplace safety regulations for adult productions.
When the roll call vote ended, the crowd — numbering well over 100, mostly adult industry talent and producers — erupted with applause, cheers and hugs.
As the stakeholders filed out of the auditorium, they circled the newly appointed executive director of the Free Speech Coalition, Eric Paul Leue, who urged them to keep on fighting the good fight.
XBIZ captured these memorable moments with the video, “Calif. Officials Vote Against Condom Rules for Porn Productions.”
