BERLIN — The Berlin Film Society will be screening "XConfessions: Nouvelle Vague Erotica," featuring the cinematic and female-led adult films of erotic filmmaker Erika Lust, at Berlin’s Babylon Kino on Feb. 10, 2016.
The night will see Lust give an in-depth talk, before screening an exclusive director's cut of her latest short films from XConfessions.com.
Afterwards, Lust will offer a Q&A hosted by Jessica Kaing, film critic and features editor of U.S.-based "The Playlist."
XConfessions strives to offer an alternative to standard pornographic imagery, characterizing its creations as "a new wave of imaginative, artistic and explicit erotic films driven by sex-positive narratives."
Lust turns sex stories and "secret desires confessed by the public" into "sexually intelligent cinematic films," described as the "first crowdsourced erotic film project in the history of adult film."
At XConfessions, every short film is a story on its own, displaying a variety of situations, characters, fetishes and ways of having sex. All attendees with an enveloped confession will be given a 1-month free pass to XConfessions.com, and be put in a drawing for the chance to have Lust turn it into an erotic film.
