Exxxotica Steams Into South Beach

MIAMI — The second annual EXXXOTICA Miami Beach trade show rolls into South Beach next week during the annual spring break festivities, bringing with it an impressive lineup of performers, sponsors and exhibitors supporting the event.

The convention is being held at the Miami Beach Convention Center, March 30 – April 1, and in addition to the exhibit hall boasts a full schedule of seminars on diverse topics such as sensual bondage, the art of talking dirty and swinging 101.

Some of the industry’s greatest stars will be in attendance, including Jenna Jameson, Tera Patrick, Ron Jeremy, Carmen Luvana, Ava Rose, Sunny Lane, Taylor Wane, Hillary Scott, Jenna Haze, Sasha Grey and Tommy Gunn.

Adult performers will be signing at various booths as well as participating in the daily schedule of events that include the Ms. EXXXOTICA contest, Nikki Benz’s Screaming O contests and The Nearly-Nude Mechanical Bull-Riding Championship.

Genesis Magazine also will be presenting an open forum on the stage daily called “Everything You Ever Wanted to Know about Porn (But Were Afraid to Ask),” featuring a dozen members of the industry ranging from stars to producers to photographers and writers.

Among the sponsors are some of the largest and well-known companies in the business, including Adam & Eve, Club Jenna, Teravision, HotMovies.com, Homegrown Video, Hustler Hollywood, Wicked Pictures and SexSearch.com. All of the sponsors also have booths, and Hustler Hollywood also will be showcasing its newest line of lingerie during a fashion show featuring Hustler lingerie contract models, which begins at 6 p.m. March 31 on the tradeshow stage.

EXXXOTICA debuted in June 2006, and according to the organizers, Victory Tradeshow Management, the show attracted more than 16,000 attendees over two days. “We saw a hole in the market — nobody was producing an adult event of this size on the East Coast,” J. Handy, owner/director of Victory Tradeshow Management, said. “We looked at several cities, but when we considered Miami — South Beach — we knew we found a home for EXXXOTICA.”
