WASHINGTON — The Food and Drug Administration on Friday said it was advising consumers not to purchase or use Power Tiger-X, a product promoted for sexual enhancement.
FDA laboratory analysis confirmed that Power Khan penis pills contain a hidden ingredient — sulfoaildenafil.
Sulfoaildenafil is structurally similar to sildenafil, the active ingredient in the FDA-approved prescription drug Viagra.
Power Tiger-X, labeled as an all-natural “oriental” herbal extract, was promoted and sold for sexual enhancement on various websites, including EverestWholesales.com, and in some retail stores.
Each “1,200 mg” capsule, according to the product’s packaging, had the ability to bring sexual stamina for four days.
The FDA said the product was identified during an examination of international mail shipments and later placed on its blacklist.
