Jeremy, a self-proclaimed "blithering idiot" when it comes to technology, told XBIZ he tests out and reviews a new piece of equipment in each episode.
"I'm not an expert with this stuff; it's more for fun," Jeremy said.
So far, Jeremy said he has reviewed a "modern" cellphone, a Bluetooth headset and several other high-tech gadgets.
"Obviously the show will be a comedy, but [Jeremy] is really going to do reviews," Heavy.com spokesman Lane Buschel said. Heavy.com is "testosterone-driven" and attracts 20-something males, he said.
Jeremy's agent, Mike Esterman, said he hopes Jeremy might learn a thing or two about technology from his hosting gig.
"Hopefully it will educate him in the world of technology and bring him up to speed with the 21st century," he said.
Esterman said he recently updated Jeremy's home computer because "it had more viruses than any human being can ever catch," and now Jeremy can go online and check out his show.
"Techsmart With Ron Jeremy" is slated to debut April 5. New episodes will air weekly.
