WEST HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — The lineup of panelists for the Gay Business Roundtable discussion at XBIZ 2016 has been finalized.
Morgan Sommer, the co-founder of Cybersocket and moderator of the roundtable, today said that this year’s panel is “a diverse group with a wide range of expertise in gay adult entertainment and novelties industry.”
Panelists for the Gay Business Roundtable discussion will include:
- Jake Jaxson, director and CEO of Cocky Boys;
- Tim Valenti, president of the NakedSword Network and the Falcon Studio Group;
- Gary Jackson, CCBill’s managing vice president of sales;
- Brent Aldon, Aneros’ director of sales and marketing;
- Austin, the executive producer, director and writer of Manville Entertainment;
- Frank Gannon, Epoch’s senior account manager;
- Johnny Sandoval, founder and CEO of Rent Hot Angels; and,
- Scott Cullens, president and owner of Palm Pacific Construction, LÜB and CUT Barber.
“We will cover topics including the implications on gay porn/sex work in the wake of the Rentboy.com closure; the question of whether consolidation is inevitable; and is there room for small independent sites and producers,” Sommer said. “We’ll also ask how is the relationship between adult novelties and porn evolving and look at current trends in gay content production and consumption.”
XBIZ 2016 gets underway next month at the stylish Andaz hotel on the famed Sunset Strip in West Hollywood.
For four days, Jan. 12-15, industry professionals and principals from international markets will converge for business insights, networking and deal-making opportunities at numerous symposiums, workshops and special events.

Among the numerous special events coinciding with XBIZ 2016, the events series will include the annual “Winter Wonderland” lingerie and pajama-themed party, in association with LATATA talent agencies, at the picturesque rooftop venue of the Andaz.
On Jan. 15, the adult entertainment industry’s biggest night — the 2016 XBIZ Awards — will take place at the J.W. Marriott hotel in downtown Los Angeles, presented by LiveJasmin and hosted by adult film superstar Stoya.
