SHE L.A. Preview: Stephanie Berman Talks Sex Toy Orgasms

LOS ANGELES — With a nickname like Stephanie “Spermin” Berman, attendees at the upcoming Sexual Health Expo (SHE) in Los Angeles on Jan. 16-17 can expect nothing less than a “probing presentation” when the speaker delivers her talk on “Sex Toys: Beyond the Orgasm” presented by Sex Ed Sponsor The Pleasure Chest.

Focusing on how sex toy innovation and the pleasure products industry has evolved over recent years allowing users to move past “the singular goal of orgasm,” Berman will explain how new products are not only providing pleasure, but are also addressing a variety of sexual health challenges including assisting men with erectile dysfunction and disabilities, premature ejaculation, prostate health and more.

The workshop will also help couples learn how to use this next wave of products to help them conceive at home and bring fun back into the bedroom.

And Berman has “walked the walk.” She has worked in the women’s reproductive health industry since 2004 and is the creator of the revolutionary ejaculating strap-on dildo, The Semenette (TheSemenette.com). The educator and entrepreneur knows first-hand how sex toys can be used beyond their intended purpose of an orgasm as she and her wife have successfully used the product to conceive both of their children.

Berman explained that the success of the innovative Semenette has led to nominations for some of the leading industry awards including Best Couples Sex Toy of the Year, Specialty Pleasure Product of the Year, and New Product of the Year. Berman herself was the recipient of Techie.com’s Editor’s Choice Lightning Bolt Award for Emerging Technology.

With SHE just around the corner, Berman said she is excited to usher in 2016 and impart her special knowledge at a show created specifically for consumers.

"I have attended the previous L.A. and N.Y. SHE Expos and have thoroughly enjoyed all of the workshops,” she said. “This event provides a wonderful, safe and open environment to talk about anything and everything related to sex and sexual health. I am a firm believer in sexual education and am expecting the upcoming L.A. show to be another successful platform for that."

Tickets to the show are now on sale, courtesy of Registration Sponsor We-Vibe. For more information, visit SexualHealthExpo.com.
