LVLZ Launches, Seeks Funding

CHATSWORTH, Calif. — Facing a crowdfunding landscape that is unfavorable to adult enterprises, LVLZ (pronounced “levels”) has announced its launch of an in-house fundraising campaign that allows fans to support their favorite stars.

LVLZ is a collaboration between industry photographer/producer Rick Shameless and girl/girl performer Vanessa Veracruz to provide a progressive web platform, and a new way for stars to interact with fans.

The first five sites launching under LVLZ showcase adult performers Vanessa Veracruz, Shyla Jennings, Kenna James, Bree Daniels and Karlie Montana, with the performers asking fans to donate to make the project a reality.

Each girl will have their own site with their own URL that will function as an online store and one-stop-shop for each girl, offering custom videos, one-on-one shows, products and more. Fans can tip and pay per download. The sites are not membership based and belong to each girl — they decide when and what to shoot, and what goes on their sites. The platform is easy to navigate and allows the girls to update their sites from main images to uploading content, much like how Facebook, webcam sites and clip stores are run. Plus, the girls can monetize their social media by connecting directly with the fans.

“Three of our five girls we’re launching with live on the East Coast, so not locking them into a contract where they are forced to be in L.A. to shoot updates really makes LVLZ a great option for a lot of talent,” says Shameless. “There are no minimum requirements for content updates and no affiliate program or payouts.”

Vanessa Veracruz’s site launched in October with the same interactive features that led to creating LVLZ.

“After successfully launching my website I know how hard the process can be, so I decided to launch LVLZ.com,” says Veracruz. “LVLZ gives girls the ability to take control of their websites, be their own bosses and take the leap from ‘performer’ to ‘brand’.”

The girls hope to raise $10,000 or more, with the funding campaign continuing until the first of the year, and backers rewarded with premiums such as custom videos, Skype sessions or even directing a scene.
