DAYTONA, Fla. — T-girl Jonelle Brooks is wrapping up a busy 2015 that saw her working for top studios including Evil Angel, Rodney Moore and Trans500, with her playing the lead role in “Kaitlyn Gender: Based on a Not So True Story.”
The title not only scored a 2016 XBIZ Award nomination for “Parody Release of the Year,” but also earned her a “Best Actress — Parody Release” nomination. This is the first time that a transgender performer has been nominated by XBIZ in a “Best Actress” category.
Jonelle also scored a nomination for “Transgender Performer of the Year.”
“I’m so happy and honored to receive a ‘Best Actress’ nomination,” says Jonelle. “It’s all so amazing and I can’t wait to attend the awards show to see who wins. Thank you, XBIZ, for thinking outside of the box and giving me a ‘Best Actress’ nomination.”
Jonelle is self-booking with no booking fees by emailing her at jonellebrooksts@gmail.com.
