'Marriage 2.0' Gets 18 XBIZ Awards Noms

LOS ANGELES — The acclaimed film “Marriage 2.0,” from LionReach Productions and Adam & Eve, is nominated 18 times for the 2016 XBIZ Awards.

The nominations include Feature Movie of the Year, Director of the Year – Feature, and Best Actor and Best Actress – Feature.

“We set out to show that the adult industry is capable of producing movies that rival mainstream productions on every level and provide a visceral viewing experience that is unique to adult cinema. We made that movie … and it's different from everything before it,” stated nominated screenwriter Magnus Sullivan. “It's nice to be recognized by the brainy folks at XBIZ.”

The movie’s nominations include: Best Actress – Feature Release for India Summer; Best Actor – Feature Release for Ryan Driller; Best Supporting Actress for Nina Hartley; Best Supporting Actress for Dylan Ryan; Best Supporting Actor for Mickey Mod; Best Non-Sex Performance for Carol Queen, Emily Morse, Reid Mihalko, and Christopher Ryan; Best Scene – Feature Release for India Summer and Ryan Driller; Screenplay of the Year, Magnus Sullivan; Best Cinematography, Alex Ladd; Best Art Direction, Best Music, Best Editing, Paul Deeb; and Marketing Campaign of the Year.

“The sheer number of nominations, distributed across the breadth of cast and crew, testifies to the inspiring talent, skill, and commitment of every member of the ‘Marriage 2.0’ family. I'm honored to be included in their company,” said nominated director Paul Deeb.

Earlier in the year, “Marriage 2.0” was named Movie of the Year at the 2015 Feminist Porn Awards and Best Narrative at the 2015 CineKink Film Festival.

The movie features sexual performances from adult stars intertwined with a compelling story about a restless couple at an emotional crossroads.

The 2016 XBIZ Awards will be held on Friday, Jan. 15, at L.A. Live in downtown Los Angeles.
